002. Hard Truth, Wrong Delivery

Most men either say nothing when they should speak, or they finally speak and go too hard.
I went too hard.
A young leader in my church posted something I believed was genuinely harmful on social media. I called him out privately, and I meant what I said. The problem wasn't what I said. It was how I said it. I shared my message with an older man I respect and look up to, and his feedback hit hard -> "You must have a really close relationship as I'd only talk that directly to my own sons."
You don't get a gold star for keeping your mouth shut when someone you care about is heading in the wrong direction. But harshness isn't courage either. If your delivery closes the door, you didn't just lose the conversation, you may have forfeited any potential future influence with that person.
We dig into what Galatians 6:1, Ephesians 4:15, Proverbs 25:15, and James 1:19 actually say about delivering hard truth without destroying the relationship in the process.
